Meditation by definition is a natural healing art of stilling the mind; finding a path to tranquility. This course introduces meditation as one of the most proven forms of stress reduction, and discusses how meditation helps to bring peace to the mind, body and spirit.

The half-day class also includes How to Meditate, and how to get the best results from your meditations. A variety of meditations will be discussed and students will participate in two full meditation sessions. Group practice and discussion following meditations will be encouraged.

Types of meditations explored will include:

  • How to Increase CLARITY of Mind,
  • Sound Chakra Meditations for Body Balance and Mind Stability
  • Learning How to Meditate to Increase Your Natural Flow to Energy.

This class is for anyone interested in learning how to meditate in order to decrease levels of stress and tension, and learning more about how to live a happier more balanced life.

Plenty of classroom time will be provided to students for learning, discussion, integration and continual assessment of building and learning strategies. At home assignments and readings will be encouraged.
